No School for TWO days!
I recently left Excel Academy, a charter school in East Boston, for
the nearby Morse School in Cambridge. I had mixed feelings about
leaving (and still do), but I believe it will be a good move for me to
make. My first day was supposed to be today; as a result of the snow,
however, I will not start until Wednesday. Even then, the students
will be taking quarterly assessments, so my teaching will be limited.
I'm nervous about starting at a new school, building rapport with a
new groups of kids, learning the routines of this new institution.
But there is no better way of easing into it than a three day week!
